Calpe School enjoyed a fantastic end-of-year Summer Concert. The pupils sang and danced brilliantly in front of a full audience of parents and friends. Many thanks to everyone who attended and who have supported Calpe School throughout the year.

Calpe School’s Year 1 class have made their own actions to match the Floppy’s Phonics sounds of Stage 4.
At Calpe School, the Floppy’s Phonics programme is used as the basis for teaching phonics in reading and writing. Reception Class have developed actions for each of the sounds in Stage 1+, 2 and 3. Watch them here:
In their weekly assembly, Pre-Nursery re-told the story of Handa’s Surprise to the rest of Foundation Stage. They also showed the pictures that they had drawn to help them recall the story. Well done, Pre-Nursery!
In their Assembly, Pre-Nursery children shared all the horse facts they have been learning. Everyone enjoyed listening to them and learning about horses.
