Year 3 have enjoyed their International Day, filled with activities from the children’s native countries. The class had mince pies and scones from England, turron and jamon serrano from Spain, pryanik biscuits from Russia, baursak from Kasakhstan and pepparkakor ginger biscuits from Sweden. Needless to say, their bellies were full! They also learned French, Estonian, Swedish and Russian words, listened to Spanish castanets, played Pin The Tail On The Donkey and listened to lots of informative presentations. Well done, Year 3, for participating in such an interesting day!
