In Literacy class, Year 3 children took part in a mock Town Hall debate, discussing the age of the railway in role as a character from history. As a class, they considered the pros and cons of railways and the different opinions that were held by people at the time (in the early 1800s). In the debate, the children put across their points of view about the idea of a railway being built. They enjoyed preparing their speech and saying it out loud with expression and wearing costumes or using props. Such great acting, Year 3!
